We are honored and grateful for the privilege to be entrusted to carry forward the exceptional legacy of the past Board members of the Educational Foundation. Their exemplary standards and remarkable achievements have set the foundation that helps us continue to carry their legacy in strengthening our partnership with our local and broader community.
PAST PROGRAMS & PROJECTS.
Grants
The Foundation awarded grants totaling $26,155 to district teachers for programs and resources to be used during the 2023-2024 school year.
Grants were awarded to all three district schools for software, classroom furniture, books, artwork and more (see below for complete list).
In thirteen years the Foundation has invested over $350,000 in Lemont classrooms, funding everything from software to musical instruments. The Foundation is supported through generous donations from area families and businesses and allows teachers to introduce new programs to their classrooms that require resources beyond the means of the district budget.
